Orlando Vacation Rentals
Accommodation > Vacation Rental - More in this Category > Top Hotels > All Inclusive Resorts > Budget Hotels > Apartments > VillasReturn visitors, large groups and anyone seeking a little privacy should check out the options for Orlando vacation rentals when considering their accommodation choices. Having your own place and some space to cook and flake out at the end of the day can make life a lot easier if you're traveling with children, moody teens or just feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of attractions and entertainment options.
Orlando vacation rentals are big business and there's plenty of choice for the discerning traveler. Florida rental homes are usually grouped into estates or gated communities and almost always have their own pool. When looking for an Orlando vacation rental be sure to ask if the key can be picked up on site, if a property manager is on site to deal with problems, if the pool is heated in winter and how far they are from Disney and the other major attractions.
A good bet if you don't want to miss out on any of the action but would like a little more freedom than a hotel room affords, is to rent a place right in the Disney Park. Disney's Home from Home resorts have villas and apartments, with fully equipped kitchens, sleeping up to eight people. Studios and one to three-bedroom villas are also available at a variety of Disney resorts and range in price from about $250 to $1915 per night depending on size and location.
Rentals outside the theme parks
Outside the parks there are plenty of Orlando vacation rentals to choose from, from purpose-built complexes with holiday villas to timeshare apartments with great facilities. One of the most luxurious is the new Reunion Resort and Club. A haven for golfers, this vast resort is being built around three world class gold courses (open only to residents) and has a mixture of hotels, condos and luxury homes available for rent.
The development also has its own riding stables, water park, swimming pools and personal concierge service for all guests. Accommodations range from condos with one to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, to modest three-bedroom villas and sumptuous eight-bedroom homes. Expect to pay between $299 and $445 per night for a three bedroom town house or deluxe home.
A wide range of vacation rentals, from condos to luxurious executive homes, are available in the Kissimmee area only 10-15 minutes from Disney. These homes generally have swimming pools and are fully-furnished and equipped and although often privately owned, they are usually managed by a central company.
It's worth shopping around when looking for an Orlando vacation rental as standards can vary but with a little luck you'll find something that offers excellent value and very high standards. For an idea of what is on offer visit FloridaSunshine.com, or FloridaLeisure.com. Expect to pay in the region of $500-$1000 per week for a three bedroom home.
