Condominiums are individually owned apartments that are fully furnished and cater for the visitors every need. All condos generally have a living-room and fully equipped kitchen. Oahu Condos are more spacious then hotel rooms and offer that 'at home' feeling that so many families crave while on holiday.
Condos offer all the luxuries of home. You will have your own washer and dryer, so trips to the Laundromat will no longer be required. The living room offers the kind of space and privacy that hotel lobbies or 'common rooms' cannot. The only drawback is that condos do not generally offer a room cleaning service, but making the bed in the mornings shouldn't be too much to ask.
Most of Oahu's condos are booked through rental agents, although there are some that operate similarly to hotels with a front desk. Condos work out cheaper then most hotels if you are staying for longer periods of time or are travelling with a larger group of people. They offer weekly and monthly rates. This is worked out as follows: the weekly rate is the daily rate times six and the monthly rate is three times the weekly rate. So the longer you stay, the cheaper it works out for you.
There is usually a three to seven night minimum stay for condo rentals. The bookings require deposits and have hefty cancellation fees.

For a luxurious condo option check out Waikiki Executive Penthouse located at the beautiful Imperial of Waikiki. The weekly rental rate is quite exorbitant but it is one of the prime condos available. The apartment sleeps five to six people and features a rooftop sundeck and magnificent swimming pool. It is also very close to world-class shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Oceanfront Tower condos offer similar luxury with spectacular views of Waikiki Beach. The perk of Oceanfront Tower condos is that they combine all the advantages of hotel accommodation with the privacy and size of a condo. Room service is available as well as a doorman and concierge and although service is always attentive and gracious, it is never intrusive.
A less expensive option is Waikiki Ocean View. This apartment sleeps one to four people. It is 533 square feet with lovely views and a spacious lanai.
