If you are into Sailing, you might want a break with a difference. Malta has its 6th Euromed Malta sailing Championships taking place between the 15th and the 20th December 2005. This is taking place at St Pauls Bay which was originally a little fishing village. St Paul is said to have been shipwrecked in this area and the old village charm still exists today. The old town is mainly residential with little tourist activity. If you are looking for more touristy places to stay, then you should try the resorts of Qawra and Bugibba as that is where the Shops, bars, and restaurants are. These two resorts are very close by and you could Sail in the day and party at night. Your comments are valuable to give me some feedback on what you want to know.

If you have read ‘Fortress Architecture & Military History in Malta’ by Quentin Hughes then you must be an enthusiast. Malta has regular events that would peak your interest. Alarme is a military re-enactment of encounters between the Maltese and French troops during the French occupation. It takes place during February, March, May, June, September and November on the third Sunday of the month. Malta has tons of festivals throughout the year including Music, food and religious celebrations. I found this site worth spending time on:
