The hotel consists of a series of A-frame units that successfully capture the nostalgia of the South Seas, and with the help of the many scattered palms, they create that near perfect island experience.

The Hotel Molokai opens onto the gorgeous Kamilola Beach which has the advantage of allowing guests and visitors to enjoy a whole host of ocean activities including snorkeling, surfing, swimming and whale watching in the winter months. That little island you can see from the hotel is none other than Hawaii's most secluded isle of Lanai. If you find yourself a little overwhelmed by what is on offer then have no fear - the resort's "activity desk" will be glad to help you make the most of your stay.
In keeping with the general laid back theme the 46 rooms a relatively simple, but come with all the necessary modern conveniences such as a fridge, telephone, iron, dataport, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms are fitted with kitchenettes that have all the basics, making it tempting to have a quiet and romantic night in. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with both a tub and a shower and have patio doors that open up onto a lanai. Guests with children (under 18) will not be charged if they share the parent's room.
This simple hotel also provides its guest with a whole host of amenities including a swimming pool that can be used to escape the island heat, tan alongside, or simply to keep the kids entertained. For guests that are visiting the island more out of business than pleasure the Hotel Molokai has a room they call the "Mana Room" which provides the perfect place for those more serious discussions.
The Hotel Molokai also is home to the Hula Shores Restaurant & Lounge which is adorned with marvelous ocean views and serves breakfast, lunch, sun downer cocktails, and dinner every day. The lunches are usually kept quite light with the menu offering an assortment of salads, sandwiches and baguettes. Dinner on the other hand is far more upscale and guests can experience the catch of the day, the Korean kalbi ribs, and an array of meats or even go for a tasty pasta dish. The food at this restaurant is usually complimented by the sublime sound of the ukulele and other sounds of the island.
