Situated only 15 minutes from the nearest shopping malls, it is ideally located near to the hub of the Zona Hotelera with all local amenities and nightlife never more than a short walk or bus ride away. The impressive hotel grounds include a miniature golf course, shaded lawns and a large pool area.

Three inter-connected pools (one assigned to children), a terrace that spans the length of the hotel's beachfront and a stunning stretch of white-sand beach are where most guests tend to spend much of their time sunbathing and generally just taking it easy. Poolside bars, with thatched roofs, provide a steady flow drinks, snacks and much needed shade. The well kept lawns with benches and palm trees offer a much quieter space to relax with a good book and a cool drink. Other hotel facilities include an air conditioned fitness centre, saunas and a beauty and massage store.
The Cancun Palace offers a huge range of activities such as beach volleyball, bingo, water balloon fights, karaoke, a casino, evening shows, fashion shows, themed parties and games for children. There is also the opportunity to sign yourself up for some Spanish lessons, cocktail-mixing lessons or dance classes. Other activities available either onsite or nearby, include basketball, tennis, kayaking, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing, surfing, water skiing, jet skiing and parasailing.
There are two restaurants offering a wide variety of good food. The open-air buffet restaurant is generally more popular because of the beautiful views over the Caribbean but the indoor restaurant serves a much wider variety of dishes including Asian, Cajun and Mexican.
Guests of the Cancun Palace are entitled to use the facilities of the other Palace resorts in the area, of which there are five:
The Beach Palace; Aventura Spa Palace ; Xpu-Ha Palace ; Moon Palace and Sun Palace. The nearest is the Beach Palace which is just 15 mins by local bus.
Room amenities include cable TV, Internet access, air conditioning, safe deposit box and balconies overlooking either the Caribbean or the Nichupté lagoon.
