If the ocean views don't captivate you then the majestic dormant Haleakala that watches over and shades the Maui Banyan most definitely will.
This is not the resort's only source of cool shade, dotted all round the grounds are striking Banyan trees with their enormous outspread canopies that provide the perfect place to relax under and retreat from the midday heat that envelops the island. These trees, as you probably would have guessed, is where this affluent resort took its name from.
The sun filters through the skies drenching the Maui Banyan grounds providing the perfect setting for partaking in some of the islands most popular ocean activities such as kayaking, sea fishing or maybe even try your hand at some adrenaline pounding jet skiing? Then relax and take a walk along the soft sanded beaches taking in the views and natural Hawaiian settings, or alternatively pull up a lounger by one of the resort's two swimming pools. Sound a bit too disconnected from civilisation? - Have no fear The Banyan is not too far away from the shops and nightlife of South Maui.
Potential guests have a choice of condominiums with one, two or three rooms all of which come standard with fully fitted kitchens and very open living areas that are air conditioned and which open out onto their own private verandas.
Please note that when booking at the Maui Banyan that the following terns and conditions apply:
- For a reservation a deposit of 3 nights is needed. This has to be received within two weeks (14days) once the booking has been confirmed.
- Room cleaning and a maid service is available at an extra cost.
- Their is a reservation fee
- Check in is at 14.00 and guests are required to check out by 10.00.
- In the event of a cancellation - this needs to be done 30 days before the date of arrival in order to get back your full deposit. However in any event there is a cancellation fee.
