Although chic, Cala d'Or has a vast variety of accommodation, so you should decide in advance what matters most to you: proximity to sea or shops, size of the pool, secure entry to your complex, or air-conditioning. You should also consider whether you would rather be one of 50 guests or one of 500. For the same price, a bigger complex will offer better shared facilities - pool, restaurant, entertainments - but a more frenetic atmosphere.
Renting
Cala d'Or apartment bookings are usually made through tour operators who will block-book rooms at the start of the season and charge them out at a price of their choosing. Families and close friends travelling together can save money by booking multi-bed, single-bedroom apartments, which will reduce the price - and the living space - dramatically.
