If you ask people to name something that they know about Las Vegas they’ll probably come up with casinos first but also people tend to think about Elvis impersonators performing wedding ceremonies.

But it’s not just in doing wedding ceremonies that impersonators work. If they can do the impersonation then there is little reason why they can’t perform as well. Of course, not all Elvis impersonators can have a show in Las Vegas (although I suppose they could work on street corners) but the best ones certainly do.
Also, there are other impersonators who are performing in Las Vegas, and this page is a guide to a few of them.
Firstly, there is the show called “All Shook Up” which is put on by an Elvis impersonator called Chris Davidson. He first saw Elvis in 1975 and almost saw it as his destiny to be working as in the “Elvis Industry”. It is the largest collection of Elvis material held privately in the world. It is 8,200 square feet of Elvis and is basically a massive museum which you must visit before you go and see an Elvis impersonator.
Sonny Boline has been in Las Vegas doing his Elvis – King in Concert - show for 9 years, and he is particularly good at the Elvis slow songs. People have constantly asked him if he is lip-synching, since he is so good, but he just practices very hard.

Another type of impersonator show is the female impersonator. Frank Marino presents an evening at La Cage in which he delivers a realistic stand-up routine impersonating Joan Rivers – so good that she actually got very upset with him! He can also do Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Judy Garland, Donna Summer and Cher.
The there is Jay White, who performs as Neil Diamond. He has performed to more than six million people and has over 20 years of performing experience. A lot of people can do impressions of Neil Diamond, but he seems to capture the charisma and has an ability to bring real emotion into the room.
Legends in Concert is a recreation of performances of a very select group of superstars from the past and from the present at the Imperial Palace. You can see impersonations of stars like Cher, Elton John, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Liberace and Madonna. You can also get a buffet with this show.
There is also a tribute to Frank, Sammy, Joey and Dean at the Greek Isles which also comes with dinner.
