All Wildlife Parks are easily reached from the town of Arusha and indeed Arusha National Park itself is incredibly easy to access and is home to an abundance of wildlife, including giraffe, hippos and baboons.
Lakes such as Eyasi Lake, otherwise referred to as the forgotten lake and Narton Lake are both worth a visit, if only for their spectacular scenery. Conservationists may be interested in stopping in at the Gombe Stream National Park, home to the notorious Jane Goodall chimpanzees, while historians will be enthralled by the Olduvai Gorge. Situated within the Great African Rift Valley which runs down the eastern side of Africa, this gorge is hailed as the birthplace of civilization and ultimately the 'Cradle of Mankind.'
