Looking for flights to Ibiza online also allows you to seek out the cheapest and best deals from a variety of different travel companies. Depending on where you live, you may find it useful to investigate the possibility of driving to Denia or Valencia by car and then catching a ferry across to Ibiza, thus avoiding the expense of car hire. The drive-and-sail option will, of course, shorten your time on the island itself, but it may be worth comparing prices to see whether the longer journey is justified by significant savings on travel and car hire prices.
Once on the island, you can save money by hiring a bicycle, moped or motorbike instead of a car, or by planning a holiday in and around one particular resort. When you're on a tight budget in Ibiza, the last thing you need is to spend up to 50 euros getting into one of the island's world-famous nightclubs, and then forking out between 9 and 20 euros for a straightforward drink. Fortunately, there is much more to Ibiza's nightlife than Manumission and Pacha, and the hundreds of smaller bars and disco-bars in San Antonio's West End and all around Ibiza Town provide great music, fantastic DJs, a Mediterranean party atmosphere and plenty of enthusiastic young clubbers. Many of these smaller bars are free to get into, and, although the drinks remain ridiculously expensive, prices are definitely more reasonable than in the super-clubs.
