Princess Cruises to Hawaii - Review
Your Princess Cruise to Hawaii will be a vacation you will be talking about for years to come. Having been in the industry since the mid 1960s, Princess Cruises has helped set the standards in this increasingly popular industry. In fact, this company put a completely new spin on the way people viewed a cruise when one of its ships, the Pacific Princess, became the setting for a series that has since become an important piece of television history."The Love Boat."

Facilities and Service
Princess currently runs two routes that incorporate the Hawaiian Islands.
Leaving from Los Angeles, the first route is dedicated solely to the islands and usually extends over about two weeks, eight of which are spent on the open sea. Shore excursions to the Big Island, Oahu, Maui and Kauai are the highlights of the cruise. The vessel then calls at Ensenada in Mexico before returning to Los Angeles.
The second route is fairly similar but incorporates Tahiti and French Polynesia. Shore breaks still include the Big Island, Maui, Oahu and Kauai, but travelers are also given the opportunity to visit Christmas Island, Bora Bora and Moorea before finally arriving in Tahiti. Trips can last as little as eleven days or as long as 30 - depending on the individual itinerary.
A Princess cruise to Hawaii quite simply equates to total comfort encased in splendidly lavished décor. When it comes to the living quarters, passengers are not starved of choice. Below you will find a list of the basic cabins available a Princess Cruise:
- Suite with veranda
- Ocean View Double with veranda
- Ocean View Double
- Mini-Suite with veranda
- Interior Double
In keeping with the general "well- heeled" theme, Princess has chosen to follow the more traditional fixed seating arrangement during meal times. The food itself is mind blowing; with guests having to choose between a number of grills, bistros, pizzerias and of course, the legendary Sabatini's restaurant. In fact the cuisine is so good that is has received a Porthole Magazine Readers' Choice Award. The dinning is only the beginning of the magic, passengers can then move on to one of the many lounges or snug bars located throughout the vessel before maybe catching one of the live bands or a Broadway style show.
The day-time portion of you time spent aboard can be spent lounging by the pool, or maybe you would prefer to do something a little more enriching, like signing up for dance class or possibly even for cooking lesson? Be sure to fit in the Lotus Spa and treat yourself to a revitalizing facial or massage. If that's not quite up your street then why not try doing a little bit of healthy exercise at the gym?
Come on and book yourself for a vacation you are not likely to soon forget.
