Swansea to Cork Ferry Route - Ferries & Crossings

Sailing between Swansea in Southern Wales to Ringaskiddy in Couny Cork, Ireland, Swansea Cork ferries offer you a friendly service and vessels with a range of onboard facilities which take you to county Cork close to some of the most popular and beautiful destinations in Ireland such as Limerick, Kerry and Clare. Swansea Cork ferries offer a selection of on board accommodation from standard two berth cabins that begin at £34.00 one way, to super standard two, three and four berth cabins ranging in price from £36.00 to £54.00 and super deluxe two berth cabins at £50.00 overnight.

On board the boats there are a range of facilities including restaurants, bars, a duty free shop, a free cinema and most importantly a playroom to keep the kids entertained whilst you quietly nurse a few pints of Guinness or whatever tickles your fancy.

Sailing routes

The majority of crossings depart from Swansea at 9.00pm arriving in Cork at 7.00am with a crossing time of roughly ten hours. Swansea Cork ferries are the only company serving this route. There is usually only one sailing per day.

From Monday to Thursday single fares for a car with driver are £95.00 plus another £10.00 for a vehicle with passengers. On the weekends car plus driver can expect to spend £109.00 and £115.00 with passengers for a single ticket and there is a special offer of £159.00 return for those coming back on a Sunday. Driving directions

The port of Swansea offers good communication links with easy access to the M4. Drive to Swansea on the M4 motorway and take the dual carriageway from junction 42 of the M4 for the three mile journey to the port, once you've arrived head for the ferry port terminal.

The ferry port at Cork acts as the gateway to some of the most beautiful destinations in Southern Ireland. Cork is the Emerald Isle's third biggest town and has much to offer from the vibrancy of Cork City itself to the stunning scenery and old world charm of its villages and atmospheric watering holes. One of the advantages of traveling from Swansea to Cork is that you drastically reduce your driving time compared to the distance you would have to drive if you took the alternative route from Fishguard to Rosslare.
