Superfast ferries are currently the only company who run a passenger ferry service out of Rosyth and offer the only direct link between Scotland and the European continent. Departing from Rosyth ferry port in the beautiful surroundings of Fife this service has opened up a great opportunity for those wishing to travel from Scotland to Zeebrugge, which acts as a gateway to some of the most interesting areas of Europe.

Rosyth ferry port is only eight miles outside Scotland's capital Edinburgh and only forty miles away from Glasgow, and is to be found on the shores of the Firth of Forth. Superfast ferries began operating this new route to Zeebrugge in 2002.

Superfast ferries promise quality service and friendly staff and aim to create a cruise type experience offering a wide range of facilities and onboard activities, such as bars, cafes, restaurants, discos and children's playrooms.

Superfast offer a range of luxury, two, three, and four berth cabins with air conditioning and en-suite toilets and showers. All their ferries include an A La Carte restaurant offering a range of culinary specialties in convivial surroundings.

Sailing routes

The new Superfast Rosyth ferry service departs at 17.00 hrs each day and arrives at 11.30 hrs the next morning with a crossing time of 17 hrs and 30 minutes. Prices for a single adult return start at around €159.

Driving directions

Rosyth ferry port is to be found to the north west of the Forth Road Bridge. Take the A90 from Edinburgh or if you're coming from Dunfermline take the M90. Take the A985 west in to Rosyth and just follow the signs to the ferry port.
