Getting to Disneyland Resort Paris

See - MQSEARCH for the latest advertised holidays if based in the UK and here if you are based in the USA.

Disneyland® Resort Paris is situated approximately 30km east of the French capital, which means that it's easily reached by a variety of modes of transport.

By Plane:

Budget airlines have driven down the cost of flights to Paris and air travel may well work out to be the cheapest way to get to Disneyland® Resort Paris. If you consider that many of the UK's budget airlines are regionally based, you'll probably find that flying is also the easiest way get there. Paris is served by two airports: Roissy/ Charles de Gaulle (the county's main international airport, located 25km north of the city) and Orly (Paris ' second airport, which handles much of the charter and no-frills traffic). Both airports are linked to Disneyland® Resort Paris by the regular VEA shuttle bus service. Buses run throughout the week during daylight hours (for further information on additional departures Tel: 0033 01 4964 4708), and cost €14.00 for adults and €11.50 for children aged 3-11 years. The journey shouldn't take more than 45 minutes, but it's a good idea to leave some extra time to catch your return flight.

By Rail:

Eurostar operates daily rail services between the UK and Disneyland® Resort Paris. From London's St Pancras (formerly Waterloo) Station the journey takes three hours, otherwise you can hop on at Ashford (in Kent) and arrive at Disneyland's gates in just two hours. Eurostar has a tariff structure that would challenge the mind of a chess grand master, but what's important is that children aged between 4-11 years can expect to pay approximately 25% of the full adult fare. Anyone below the age of 26 is classed a 'youth' and is looking at a 50% discount. If you want to really push the boat out there's an option to travel 'Castle Class'.

By Car/ Coach:

If you're travelling to Disneyland® Resort Paris by car you'll have to choose between crossing the channel by ferry or hovercraft, or going underneath it in the Eurotunnel. Once you are on French soil follow the signposts to Paris until you reach the périphérique. Follow the ring-road around the capital until you see the exit marked Metz-Nancy (A4) which leads you straight to the Disneyland® Resort. Parking costs €8.00 per day.
