Originally called the “Orchid at Mauna Lani” the Fairmont extends over 32 acres of land that once was nothing more than a lava desert. Now a virtual oasis the resort has over five hundred rooms, 2 well groomed golf courses, a staggering 18 conference rooms, a pool and health club, the magical 'Spa Without Walls” and even valet parking. A recent addition to the already opulent settings is the Fairmont Gold Floor, which is reserved for guests only and features the Gold Lounge!
Inside guests are confronted with a décor that has a definite European origin, which runs from the lobby, through the halls and into the rooms. The resort is also home to number of restaurants that are renowned for their culinary excellence - Norio's Sushi Bar & Restaurant, Brown’s Beach House and The Grill to name just a few.
Beyond the Hotel
As previously states this Hawaiian resort is home to two championship golf courses. The Francis H. I`i Brown has been split into two distinct eighteen hole course – the North and the South. For those budding tennis players the Fairmont has 10 separate courts to get those pulses racing, seven of which are able to accommodate night games.
