Despite Glasgow airport's proximity to the city centre, public transport links aren't great and the nearest rail station is a taxi ride away in Paisley. The airport shuttle bus is another option, but anyone arriving late, or catching a flight in the small hours, will probably be better off spending the night in one of Glasgow's growing number of airport hotels.
