Bristol's days as a sleepy provincial airport have been consigned to the history books and today the airport handles more than four million passengers each year. Much of Bristol airport's success is thanks to the continuing boom in no-frills airlines (easyjet.com and flybe.com both announced new routes from Bristol in 2004), but as we all know the cheapest flights don't always leave at the most convenient times.
